Mwepesi, the Slow God

GO SEE THE VINE IN THE JUNGLE

IT HELPS THE TREE STAND TALL

WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO BE AS TALL AS THE TREE?

This week we return to a theme that we haven’t visited for a while: deity write ups!

While Mwepesi isn’t exactly part of the core DCC deity list, it is inspired by a classic DCC adventure: Sailors on the Starless Sea!  I recently ran it online for my usual cadre of dungeoneers, and they visited the extended summoning pits added on to the adventure in later publications. And, as they are wont to do, surprised me by turning to the worship of the Slow God instead of Ildavir. So here we are, check out my version of the strange vine-deity through the link!

Finally, we are almost there for my DCC bonanza next week: there are still a bunch of open spots in the European time zone games on Tuesday and Thursday. Come get your game on with us! More details here.

Cheers,
